I was walking my dog near the school this morning and saw 9 of them on the soccer field.

The clock on my camera is wrong. I took it just about 9:50 am or so. They took off behind the fire station. Must be the same deer.

It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of talent or luck involved in getting some of these photos.  Can you imagine seeing deer running accross your back lawn, grabbing your camera and getting a photo of them before they are out of sight??  That would not be me.  By the time I got my camera, turned it on and had it do its thing to get ready to take a photo, the deer would be either up in Fletcher or Fairfax Village.

Housing developments that interfere with our wild animals regular path of movement don't really seem to.  The deer still travel they same routes it would appear.

Great job with the photo Tom, not quite as quick as taking a photo of lightening, but close.
