Off To Get My Winter Tires Put On

Well my car is 5 1/2 years old and I still don't have 50,000 miles on it. During the course of that time I have had the tires changed 11 times at a cost of close to $675, which also includes balancing each tire each time it is changed. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't stick the winter tires on and leave them on. The warm weather and casual use of my car almost made me forget to do this.

Of course I will carefully inspect each tire to make sure no mouse has made a nest in the tire this past summer. Would hate to think one was in the tire when I put it in the car and I saw it run out. It certainly would have to be a carefully kept secret from Maryann if one did and I couldn't find it. Maryann doesn't have any fondness for mice. I can easily understand the panic that occurred when they found a mouse on an airplane of one of our major airlines a while back.

Anyhow, that will take care of my day today.
