Some Mass Friends Tell Me They Have 15 - 18 Inches Of Snow

They are really getting hammered around Falmouth, Ma - I am told they have 15 - 18 inches of snow.  Meanwhile up here in "God's Haven", Northwestern Vermont, we are getting nothing but a little Northwest breeze and a few non accumulating flakes of snow.  I have seen a few pickups with snow machines going by, apparently looking for snow, but think they will have to go elsewhere to find it.  Although I have never seen any comparisons, we don't actually get that much snow up in this part of Vermont as all of the storms seem to go just South of us.

The long range forecast says we may have some snow Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - Always nice to go to Mass Christmas Eve with some light snow falling, as long as I am not driving.

I still say we want snow for Christmas so that the lighted decorations look nicer. A warm, green Christmas means safer roads and safer travel.
Also means the road crews get the day off. I remember some Christmases whan Dad worked for the town, where we had a snowstorm. Dad would let us know when he was going to take a break. He would drive the town plowtruck home, we would gulp down Christmas dinner, quickly open presents, and then he was off again.
