Fund A Feast - If You Think You Are Done Christmas Shopping

Want to get that extra nice feeling about Christmas? Christmas is really about doing things for others and Hannafords has a great way of doing this. You can go into your Hannaford's store and when you check out ask them for the pre-assembled bag or box of food that includes high-protein and staple products, but the offer is up on December 22nd. It will cost you just $10 and this is what you get:

1 jar Hannaford Creamy Peanut Butter
1 can Geisha Chunk Light Tuna in Water
2 boxes Hannaford Macaroni & Cheese
1 can Dinty Moore Beef Stew
1 box Hannaford Elbow Macaroni
1 jar Hunts Spaghetti Original Sauce
1 can Hannaford Mixed Vegetables
1 can Hannaford Chicken & Rice Soup
1 box Hannaford Instant Rice
1 can Hannaford Fruit Cocktail in Pear Juice

Now your can bring this box or bag - (Hannafords in Essex Center has it all packed in a nice box) - home with you and drop it off at our own local food shelf or just leave it at the Customer Service Desk and Hannafords will take care of it for you. Personally, I prefer to drop it off at our local food shelf.

Customers simply include the bag in their regular grocery order. All donated bags will be picked up by local food pantries and soup kitchens, which will distribute the items to area households in the five states Hannaford serves: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont.
