A Cold Blustery 4.8 Degrees Here On The Fletcher Road

These are the days I miss a paper boy, although I think nowadays there is no such thing out here in Fairfax anymore as I see paper boxes that the Motor Route uses in front of most houses.

The west wind stacked quite a pile of snow on my handicapped ramp in front of the door, so had to push like hell to get out.  I think the wind is coming from the West, although I did not spend a lot of time checking which direction it was coming from.  I doubt I will be going out again today unless it warms up just a bit.

• grad a good book
• ask Maryann to join in a board game

Was just on your site checking the wind chill, apparently when you were posting.  I see it says -10.  Chris Howard came and plowed our driveway last night, so the driveway isn't bad, however, getting to the door has a few small drifts.  I wore my boots this morning to get the paper and put some outgoing mail in the mail box.  The visiting nurse should be here shortly, unfortunately I hope she is wearing boots also.  Our VNA is a wonderful group.
