The wind has started to blow up here on the Fletcher Road and is blowing the light snow off the roof.  Looks like a good day to stay inside - Mary Kay is off to Sandy Jewett's funeral in Barre, so hopefully she will not have any problems and Fox 44 reports the following:

FOX44 Local News Greetings and salutations all, Jason here: The winter storm watch is now a winter storm warning in effect from 1pm this afternoon until 7am Monday. Not only will there be heavy snowfall but gusty winds blowing and drifting the snow. That means expect poor visibility and treacherous driving tonight and tomorrow and EPIC conditions on the mountains!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

Not much better weather here in middle Tennessee.  About 25 degrees and snow flurries.....only thing here is that if we were getting the same as in Farifax, the stores would be mobbed with people buying milk, bread and eggs.

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

Stick your head out the window
if it is cold it is cold out
if it is wet raining
if wet a few minutes after bringing in it is  snowing
if the blue tarp keeps blowing off the window it is windy
if you can't see from the back door to the out house it is nigh
if you stick to the seat in the outhouse it is frosty

THAT IS A UP TO THE MINUTE WEATHER REPORT
