Time To Take Down The Tree

Usually I do this on New Years Day, but this year am a day late. There is just something about feeling like I am starting a new year that doesn't take place until I get the house back to normal. I will then tackle using my new vhs/dvd recorder. I have a lot of VHS Tapes that I want to convert to DVD. Some of those tapes go back to when Lynn was a baby. I believe I have converted the Christmas 8mm movies all to VHS tape, so will be interesting to look back as for many years there was an 8mm movie every Christmas.

One thing I will definitely make sure I do is break the little tab on the VHS tapes so I don't record over these priceless gems by accident. Both Maryann and I got a lot of nice things, so after the tree and manager are put up we will start admiring and using them as we look out the windows at our January/February weather and venturing out on the nice days.
