A father & son were seriously injured on slippery Route 7 near the Georgia/Milton town line this afternoon.  The six o'clock news had no names.  Nothing yet on the Channel 3 or Fox Websites.

I heard it on the news and have been watching the websites and also checked the Free Press, but absolutely nothing - I don't know whether it was the Milton Police or State Police that were there - With the New Years holiday and the weekend, not much activity in the news area.  Had a co-worker retiree from IBM die and he is layed out at Ready Funeral home, but they don't have it on their web site yet.  If anybody is aware of any more on this, please post or send me a note and I will post if you are not a forum member.

The father, 46 year old Scott Boyson of Milton is in critical condition and I don't remember what was stated as the condition of the 13 year old boy.  It was on Channel 22 tonight.

Four people hospitalized in Milton crash

A near head-on collision Saturday afternoon on U.S. 7 in Milton sent four people to the hospital, including a father and son who were ejected from their car in the crash, Milton police officer Christopher Grenier said.

Ice and snow on the road likely contributed to the crash, but police are investigating the incident, Grenier said. Scott Boyson, 46, of Milton and his 13-year-old son were heading northbound and were thrown from the car after the crash.

The two were transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, where Scott Boyson was listed in critical condition. Rescue crews extricated the driver heading southbound, Shawn Fournier, 41, and his passenger Tirah Constant, 40, both of Georgia, from their vehicle. They were also transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care.

Milton police and Fletcher Allen Health Care did not provide any more information regarding the crash.
