WINTER WONDERLAND

Margie took this picture of me. The yardstick said 20 inches. The snow on the ground read 25 inches. This was mid-Sunday morning.

I'm running out of space to put the snow!!

While I went out for a walk, I saw Chris Santee was shovelling.

The snowbanks over by the school.

Gary Stewart trying to get the place cleared out so school can open Monday.

Out front of the old building still needed to be done.

The view of the village from the top of Hunt Street

Main Hill. Where is everyone going on a day like today??

This storm kinda snuck up on us. There was no real warning. There was talk of a nor'easter, but then it was downgraded to a couple of inches a day here and there. Then it was a winter storm watch, then a warning. But there was no real urgency of plan to be prepared. I've seen other storms that are warned a couple days in advance so people can prepare. And then we only get a couple of inches.
When was the last time we saw sunshine? I mean real blue sky sunshine.
