Someone mentioned to me yesterday that there seemed to be a lack of posting on my forum, so I thought I would post the stats for the Month of December. The stats include my total website which includes Fairfax Town, The Forum, My Password Protected IBM Web Site and My Photo Gallery. Search engines send quite a bit of traffic to my web site and you will notice that weekends and holidays are lower, since a number of people only go on my web site from work.
The purpose of the web site is to make our local and former local people aware of what is going on in town. I do screen very closely to make sure that our residents are not trashed on the web site and am very proud of all the members that post for adhering to my unwritten standards. I place no pressure on myself to post something, just what happens to pop in my mind. I do appreciate all of the posts made by the members as this helps keep me informed as well as everyone else who happens to come on the forum.
The forum is a free service to the community, so if someone has something they want to sell, something they want to buy or their organization or business has something going on, they are free to post it on my forum without any charge.
