INCIDENT: Armed Robbery at the Kinney Drugs in Cambridge

DATE & TIME OF INCIDENT: January 5, 2010 @ approximately 1755 hours
LOCATION: Kinney Drugs, 155 South Main Street, Cambridge, VT
ACCUSED: Unknown at this time
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
At approximately 1755 hours on January 5th, the Vermont State Police received a report of a pharmacy robbery that had just occurred at the Kinney Drugs Pharmacy located on South Main Street in Cambridge. A lone male entered the pharmacy and demanded the prescription medication Oxycontin from the pharmacist while displaying a large knife. The male then fled the pharmacy in an unknown direction. The male is described as follows:
· White male
· Height approximately 5’10 – 6’
· Scruffy beard
· Mustache – possibly red in color
· Blue colored flannel shirt with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath
· Blue jeans
· Baseball cap
Surveillance photographs of the incident are attached.
There were no reported injuries at the time of the robbery.
This pharmacy was robbed on December 24th when a lone male entered the pharmacy and demanded Oxycontin. That incident is still under investigation.
Anyone who may recognize the male in the surveillance photographs, possibly witnessed this event, seen any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons in or around the area of the pharmacy is asked to call the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks at 802-878-7111.
