Yahoo Scam

FYI, I got an e-mail from a dog breeder that I dealt with a few years ago and it was an e-mail sent from her address stating that she was in England and had lost her wallet not being able to pay the hotel. It could have been a legitamate e-mail except for the fact that I knew she home schooled the children and that she lived on a farm. Her farm is run by her family, her parents and her husbands parents. Common sense told me that she woudl have asked one of them before me and that one of them would have asked me before she contacted me from England. It was sent to me at 6:19 a.m. and I got it at 6:23. I called her immiediately and she was very thankful. A couple of weeks ago she was contacted by Yahoo to do an update. She did so and this is what she got for it. It was not the real Yahoo but they did use all the right logos and such. Very scary so be aware. Just wanted to share that tid bit of info. Shelly

THANK YOU!  I have heard of this scam before and it shapes and reshapes itself into different forms; phone calls, emails, etc.  It is always wise to take those sorts of messages, however you get them, with a plenitude of salt!
