I remember reading on this site that Fairfax has several community members who are deploying (deployed) with the National Guard this year.

While the National Guard has done a great job organizing family support services and groups, I would like to start a small support group closer to home than Colchester.

I think it would be great to have a local support group here in town.  In addition to supportive family members and friends, I think it would be nice to have a group of local neighbors to talk with who are experiencing the same frustrations of having a love one deployed.

If you have a family member deployed this year (with the National Guard or full time service member), and would be interested in forming a local group, contact me here, or email me at cedarman30@hotmail.com

Nice idea!  The church would be available if you need a space and homes aren't available.

There was an article that said Vermont was the MOST affected State for causalities and deaths during our war on terrorism.
Did you all see it?

I read it and I was flabbergasted.........  speechless.

GOOGLE it.
