I use my search a lot and even on this forum, people use terms that are Greek to me.  Special Ed used the phrase, "Gone Postal" and I had no idea what it meant, so off to the search box:

"Going postal, in American English slang, means becoming extremely and uncontrollably angry, often to the point of violence, and usually in a workplace environment. The term gained popularity after the 1995 movie Clueless. It derives from a series of incidents from 1983 onward in which United States Postal Service (USPS) workers shot and killed managers, fellow workers, and members of the police or general public. Between 1986 and 1997, more than 40 people were killed in at least 20 incidents of workplace rage."

Did ya know that the USPS daily operating costs are funded by postal rates?

I believe I read that their retirement and pension fund was funded by the FEDs until recently.
It was swapped to dip into the monies out of their operating budget.
I could be WAY OFF on this... but I think that is what is putting them in the red and may cancel Saturday mail.
