I was cleaning out the server room at work and found an ASUS netbook.
No one had any clue where it came from.

I brought it home, cleaned it up and fired it off.

Pretty nice little toy.
And toy is all it is.....

Mike, I'm sure you've done it already but I like to use old laptops as "dedicated" Pandora units.  I have an old IBM laptop (circa 2001) that I use exclusively for that.  I-net explorer and a wireless card and you're all set! :)

uhh.. Internet Explorer?  A Microsoft product? LOL.. and no, that laptop wasn't setup w/wireless, but DOES have a PCMCIA slot- so using a surplus wireless card I had, I ended up with an "Internet Radio" :)

I got one very cheap last summer from Dell when I bought a new laptop. It was an add-on with the purchase - a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 (nine-inch screen). It's nice because you don't have to worry about it very much - again, cheap, no moving parts. It works well for trips, because it's enough to surf the Web, check email, etc.

That was EXACTLY my point. (I had a hat on to cover it)

Then T-Man comes in with his jargon and NO internet connection and blasts me.
I Explorer,,, who calls it that???????

I guess my Vermont coffee care package is screwed now... oh well.
I like me some Folgers anyway.

That is the only way I have ever heard it say. I would have to agree with Trevor.

Language barriers....can we NOT break them?

Ah ya? ( Or however it is said, I am sure ya'll say it correctly)

I am from SOUTH Anchorage so I say ya'll.
Now I have lived on the EAST Side for 15 years, so I say WORD, now when I am trying to FRONT.
