William Boozan, an Irish Immigrant who settled on Boozan Hill in Fletcher just off the North Road and was the father of 23 children has only one grandson left and that is Roger Boozan, who now lives in Essex Junction and as seen below, still barbers a couple days a week. Several sons of William & Emily Boozan owned farms on The Metcalf Pond Road and it is on one of these farms that Roger grew up on. William Boozan's second wife, who was many years younger than he was, moved to the house where Roger & Shirley Geno now live after the death of her husband. Her maiden name was Emily Driscoll and she was a relative of the Driscoll family here in Fairfax.
