Pictures of the DayThe Flynn Theater Saturday night.City Hall in Burlington.MORE STUFFI saw my first robins of the year. 3 of them. 2 were down by the covered bridge. One was in the bamboo.
I went to my first yard sale of the year. Some nice stuff. Old tools. An old sled. Older than the one we have at the museum. $25. Don't think so.
The Fairfax Historical Society is on Facebook. We will be posting historical dates in history, upcoming events, and old pictures. It's listed as Fairfax, VT Historical Society. Become a fan today, or when you get a chance.
Margie went to auditions for Narnia Saturday down in Burlington. I walked around Church Street. That's how I got today's pictures. Margie and I had supper at the Vermont Pub and Brewery. Good food. My brownie sundae for dessert cost almost as much as my bacon cheeseburger.
The bloodbath, also known as March Madness continues. After going 9-7 on Thursday, I was 12-4 on Friday. Saturday was another bloodletting affair. Kansas and Villanova BOTH lost. I had Kansas losing the final. They are out early. A lot of people had picked them to win it all, including President Obama and both Mikes from Mike and Mike in the Morning.
I expect us to get called out to a house fire.
"What happened?"
"Well, I set fire to my bracket sheet, and the house caught fire."
So remember-
Only burn your sheet in a well maintained fireplace, or outside in a controlled environment so that it doesn't spread.
