Call For Early Dismissal At BFA St. Albans A Hoax

A phone call to Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans asking for a female student's early dismissal was a hoax, police said.

A caller, identifying himself as the stepfather of the student, requested the girl's release.

But the girl contacted her family and found neither of her parents had called the school. Police are treating the episode as suspicious and are attempting to identify the caller.
