Daniel A. Piaseczny

 
Westford-Daniel A. Piaseczny, 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 9th, 2010. Dan was born on May 23, 1960, in Manchester, New Hampshire, and is the son of Emily (Radwan) Piaseczny and the late Charles J. Piaseczny. Dan was married to Angela Gawel on October 25th, 1980, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Dan Worked as an engineer for IBM in Essex Junction for 30 years, and was a gentleman farmer.  Hobbies included gardening and cooking, and he will be missed most for his sarcastic sense of humor.

Survivors include his mother, Emily Piaseczny of Manchester, NH; his wife of 29 years, Angela “Llama” of Westford; their two children, Jason “Wally” and Becky “Becky Bear” of Westford; his siblings, Fred Piaseczny and his wife Susan of Las Vegas, Felecia Forest and her husband Bill of Toano, VA; Paul Piaseczny and his wife Karen of NC; and Richard Piaseczny and his wife Dawn of Sheldon; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dan’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2010, from 5 to 8 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 14th at 2:00 PM in St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Heart Association, Vermont Affiliate, 434 Hurricane Lane, Williston, Vermont  05495.
