Last Heat Wave Was In 2003

Channel 3 says that today we might beat the record of 91 degrees for today.  They said in order to have a heat wave, we have to have 3 days with the temperature of 90 degrees or over and that has not happened in Burlington since 2003.

I got my lawn all mowed with my riding lawn mower yesterday and usually call a young man named Connor when it is ready for trimming.  Will wait until this heat is over as I don't have the heart to have him work out in this heat.

We have had our two larger air conditioners on since they are built into the wall and Richard came over last night and put in a couple of small 5K airconditioners in the computer room and my bedroom, so we should be all set for the heat.

Just one more thing to get ready for the heat - My air conditioner stopped working in the car, so have an appointment with Paquin's to get it checked out.  I have the 7 Year 70K Service Warranty on it, but most likely it won't be anything that is covered.
