I saw on Craigslist someone that was missing a grey cat from that area. This was posted under Lost & Found. There was no phone number listed but I emailed them with your number. Hopefully the owner will call.

Can you follow up with the people that found the cat, so that we know if the owner was found and close this one out?

The owner was the next door neighbor.

But the cat is lost again.
He's 18, blind and deaf.

The owners are really trying to find the cat.  His name is Wally and he belongs to Hal & Alisa Smith.  If you live, or are in the vicinity, of West Street and see an old gray cat, please pick him up and call the Smiths.  Wally is much loved and very very missed.

Now I am confused - It is my understanding that the people at 849-9314 found a cat and according to Chris Santee, they have found the owners who were their neighbors up on West Street -  Am I wrong??

They saw the cat but didn't take him in.  He wandered away from them before the Smiths knew about this posting.

Like Margie says, the cat was found, but now is lost.
I hope for a reunion with the owners soon.
