Heard on the news last night that The University of Vermont is selling all of its cattle and when I went and got my paper this morning, also noticed that my neighbor has a lot of his cattle missing also. Usually this time of year about 13 or 14 mothers and their calves are feeding across the road. Although earlier this spring there were quite a few little calves, all seem to be missing now with only 7 cows left. I do miss the peacefullness of the cattle and the farms in the area, however, times they do change.
