GMTA Fairfax Shuttle

I received a call from Andrea at Green Mountain Transit, and the agency is wondering if there would be any interest in the above 60 population (or disabled or Medicaid eligible)  in Fairfax for a weekly shopping shuttle to St. Albans.  Depending on the response, this is a service they would consider. 

She also wants to remind people that GMTA provides transportation to the eligible population for any medical necessity. All one would have to do is call GMTA at 527 2181 and request arranging a ride. 

Volunteer drivers are always welcome.  Drivers would receive mileage reimbursement for taking individuals shopping, or to appointments. Again, contact the office at the above phone number.
