The house Lyle Parah and his family lived in burned in the  late 1950's or real early 60's.  It was in between what is now 2233 Main Street belonging to Sylvia Young (Peter & Emily Peno place) and 2249 Main Street belonging to Mark Fletcher. There was a drive way and a garage on the property where the house was for many years, it belonged to Ron Parah. Fletcher bought part of the land and the rest was sold maybe 4 or 5 years ago and a new house was built which is now 2241 Main Street belonging to Francis Gambone. The house sits quite a ways back from the road. Their driveway  goes over the original site of the Parah house

Lyle is a friend of our family. He enjoyed life and was truly one of the good guys. Camp without Lyle's wine just won't be the same. The maple wine made from our syrup and sap was mind-numbing. Hopefully, he passed on the recipe on to someone.
