First all words of thanks and appreciation to so many of you for your birthday cards, wishes,prayers and gifts.
Last Sunday I left for Sharana, which is about 30 mins by helicopter from here. Was suppose to lv at 1:30pm, but the flight got changed three times, and I left at 11:30PM. The next day I left for Rushmore, spent had Mass there, and the next day by helicopter left for KKC, and then the following day to KKC, and back to Sharana. The last two camps the only way in was by copter because it would be too dangerous by road. Was able to get back here Friday PM. but I had to leave at 1AM (or as the soldiers say O to early) to get back, via a plane and convoy. The camps, very dry, but cool, they were 7500 Ft above sea level. Not too much action at the camps that week, just a few IE d's. Some pictures of one of the camps
