Tolerable weather enabled the hard work of over thirty volunteers to lengthen the Fairfax Community Woods Trail by 3/8 of a mile last Saturday and Sunday, June 26, 27.  This completed Phase Two of the three-part project to provide town and school with a mile and a half of wide and beautiful woodland trails for walking, running, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Work is well on its way to complete Phase Three by the end of the summer, providing Fairfax families wonderful recreational opportunities.

If you are interested in helping build bridges, move wood chips, or create signage, please contact Fred Griffin at fred@nensa.net.
