I went out and got my paper this morning and put out my flag and thanked God for the wonderful freedoms we have. I also said a prayer for our troops over in Afghanistan who are placing themselves in danger each day, that they will all come home safely.
The death of a Vermont Guardsman who lost his life in Afghanistan this past week is a reminder that our young men & women there are in constant danger. According to Dubie in his press conference yesterday, four other Vermont Guardsmen were seriously injured, however no names were released.
