The girls will stay in Albany and play the winner of the Massachusetts/Connecticut game.

Fairfax has already beaten Connecticut 2-0 and Massachusetts 10-2

Fairfax's next game is Friday.

Connecticut just ended "Dreams of Oregon" by beating Fairfax 8-0 in Albany, New York.

Fairfax will play the loser of the New Jersey vs. Delaware game on Saturday
and return to Fairfax Saturday evening.

How should we welcome them home
Peg Stewart says it's okay to use the elementary school parking lot Sunday at noon.
Any other ideas are certainly welcome, but make them quickly please.

I'm in contact with Bill Ormerod in Albany awaiting his input also.

They should be proud of what they did no other 11-12 year old girls can do what they have done this year.

I think the Fire Department should bring them back into town because they have done an awesome job.

Chief Potter is unavailable for the weekend, maybe we should wait past Sunday.
In my eagernous to welcome them home, I could be rushing things.

What this team has accomplished is tremendous.

Why don't we get a time and all meet at the school with balloons and homemade signs. I bet we could make a difference as a town and possibly an article or two. These girls deserve a greeting that will last a life time. Count 5 of us in if we know the time or time frame. Thank you Chris, what a great idea.

i can not remember any vermont little league team going so far. maybe there has been i'm not sure. any way congratulations girls. you should be very proud of yourselves. the whole state of vermont should be as proud as you have made the town of fairfax. looks like BFA will be contending for some state softball titles in the coming years. i was lucky enough to play on a state champion baseball team, however we did not get to play the best teams in new england . you not only got to play against the best you also beat the best. thanks chris for keeping us all updated.

It is impressive that a group of pre-teen girls could accomplish so much! Spirit, tenacity, energy...absolutely cool.  You go girls! Be proud of yourselves.
