Went looking for the Old Ben Franklin Store.  As I remember it, it used to be across the way from the Old Sears/Service Merchandise Stores.  I got over there and where I thought the store was, looked like they were building a new building.  Drove out back a ways and saw the Seaway Car Wash, but that was completely surrounded by housing.

I went back across the street and did find a craft store, but that is a little out of my price range.  I will have to try Big Lots the next time I go to Essex Junction

Hi Henry -

Yes, that store moved over to the Price Chopper shopping plaza.  The name changed quite awhile ago to Creative Habitat at Ben Franklin.  Depending on what you need, Michael's in the Staples Plaza is the place to get lots of things, similar to the old Ben Franklin and at a better price.

Since I'm down here every day, give me a call and tell me what you need.  I can run over to get it for you!
