Charlotte Central School paraeducator and bus driver Brenda Gaulin of Vergennes prepares for the new school year.
"I graduated from Trinity College with a degree in business administration and education. In my sophomore year, I had the opportunity to student-teach in England. It was there that I knew I wanted to work with younger kids. I lived and taught in Fairfax for 14 years. Driving a bus came up when they were looking for drivers. I thought I could get my license and be able to take my students on trips. That's how it started. They gave me a morning and afternoon run, and I really like it."
