I've noticed recently that there isn't a newscast at 10pm on WCAXtra anymore? Anyone know the reason for the change?

Thanks,
Todd

I sent a note to Roger Garrity and got the following response from Channel 3 News:

Hi

Roger Garrity sent along your note about 10 pm news on 3.2.

Right now we have put the 10pm broadcast on hiatus. We are about to launch a 5pm and a 5:30 broadcast. We will be adding another hour of content to our main channel so we are focused on getting that up and running-so we have dedicated some of the resources aimed at the 10pm to those new broadcasts.

Viewers can look for those new broadcasts on September 13th.

The 5pm will be co-anchored by Roger Garrity and Bridget Barry Caswell.

The :30 will be co-anchored by Mike McCune and Kristin Carlson.

Thanks for writing and watching.

Be well

Anson

Thanks for looking into it. We prefer the WCAX Newscast and 10pm was convenient, but at least we have the Fox 44 News at 10 to get our pre-bed news fix.
