Looked Like Maybe Target Practice

Noticed across the way last night what appeared to be somebody target practicing. I would hear a gun shot, then see something white dashing across the field, then something white dashing back to where the gun shots seemed to be coming from.

Now I am just guessing, but it looked like maybe someone had some targets hooked to a rope on a pulley and after they would shoot, they could pull them back and send up a new one to shoot at. They had what appeared to be a small tractor down there, so maybe the pulley was run by the tractor because it sure went up and down the field pretty fast. It will be interesting if I ever find out as to just what was going on, but to "The Eye Of The Beholder" that is what was happening.

There is a pretty high hill behind where they appeared to be shooting, so it did not appear to pose any danger to anyone.
