, subject to corrections and/or additions at the next
Selectboard meeting. Those corrections and/or additions will be written
to the original minutes. If you, the viewer, wish to personally
see those changes, you will need to go to the Fairfax Town Office to view
those changes as written on the original paper copy.
Any time the Selectboard "amends" the previous weeks' minutes, there will be a
statement to that effect in the minutes of the meeting at which the "amending"
occurred.
Selectboard Members present: Bill Ormerod, Jeff Blake, Charlie Swanson, Judy Cleary, and Randy DeVine. Staff Members present: Don Pigeon, Road Foreman, Stacy Wells, Office Assistant, Amy Sears, of the Utility Department, Skip Taylor, Zoning Administrator, Cathy Raymond, Zoning and Planning Assistant, and Erin McSweeney, Administrative Assistant to the Selectboard. Public Present: None
1.Call to Order
Bill Ormerod, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7:02PM.
2. Executive Session
Jeff motioned to enter Executive Session to conduct employee evaluations at 7:02PM. Judy seconded. All board members voted in favor. The board came out of Executive Session at 9:53PM.
3. Minutes
Judy motioned to approve the minutes from the meeting on December 10, 2007, as written. Randy seconded. All board members voted in favor.
4. Items on the Agenda
A. The board reviewed the Correspondence Worksheet. Erin will work with Skip to answer some questions the board has regarding Larry and Barbara Young's proposed subdivision.
5. Public Input
There was no public input this evening.
6. Other Business
A. Jeff informed the board that there is an "Apartment For Rent" sign in front of 1192 Main Street. A preliminary sewer allocation has been granted for this property, but the owner still needs to obtain final approval. Erin will contact the owner advising him of this.
B. A notice has been sent to all residents of Old Academy Street reminding them that their trash should be put in an animal proof container and their recycling should be secured to keep the area clean.
C. A reminder has been sent to a resident of Sand Hill Road advising him that curbside trash service is for residents of the Town of Fairfax only. Residents should not accept or put out trash from people who do not live in the Town of Fairfax.
D. The board reviewed and signed the contract from AM Peisch for auditing services.
E. The board signed the municipal note from Union Bank for 2008.
7. Adjournment
Judy motioned to adjourn the meeting at 10:16PM. Jeff seconded. All board members voted in favor. The meeting was adjourned at 10:16PM.
