DOG LICENSE INFORMATION
Dog licenses are due on April 1st of every year but licenses can be
issued any time after January 1st, to avoid the rush and to avoid the late charges that
will incure after April 1st. Dog licenses can also be issued through the mail. Just submit
the correct fee and be sure that we have an updated rabies certificate for your dog on file
in the Town Office or send one with your check. Your license and tags will be mailed to you.
- Fees for a spayed or neutered dog = $10.00 before April 1st and $12.00 after April 1st.
- Fees for a non-spayed/non-neutered dog are $12.00 before April 1st and $14.00 after
April 1st.
Checks can be made payable to the "Town of Fairfax" and mailed to "PO Box 27
Fairfax, VT 05454."
If you are unsure if your dog has an updated rabies certificate on file, please call the
office at 849-6111, and ask the Town Clerk to check Town records.
