A GUILD'S CHARITY QUILT WENT TO RELAY FOR LIFE
The Franklin County Quilter's Guild chose the Franklin County Relay for Life as the recipients of their charity quilt this year. The quilt was presented by Carol Stanley (Carol is on our BFA Centennial Quilting Committee) and the Guild to Trudy Cioffi, Relay co-chair on April 11. The quilt will be raffled off and all proceeds will go towards cancer research, education, and support programs. Maryann and I also started a few renovations to make our home a little more handicapped accessible. Unfortunately, this morning I can't show you much. Later on as things get going a little more, it may be of interest to some of you, if you happen to be building a new home or just doing a little renovating, just what are some of the things you could do that would help make your home more accessible to parents, friends, or maybe even yourself as you get a little older and may develop a few problems in those golden years.
